Making Communities Safer, Engaging the Public

1984 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Matt Peskin, founder of the National Association of Town Watch, introduced the very first National Night Out. What started as a resource event involving 2.5 million neighbors across 400 communities has now evolved into a nationwide effort involving 38 million neighbors across 16,000 communities.

Central Basin joined the nationwide movement, sharing information on our region’s water supply and the latest tips to making water conservation a way of life.

Thank you to the cities of Huntington Park, Lynwood, Bell, Bellflower, Signal Hill, Bell Gardens, Downey, Whittier and Montebello for letting us be a part of your #NationalNightOut.
