Waterlogged

Central Basin presents Waterlogged

Waterlogged is a collaborative high school visitation program between Central Basin Municipal Water District and the Roundhouse Marine Studies Lab and Aquarium, an oceanographic teaching station. Through specimen dissections, examples of current aquatic/marine science research, and practical hands-on activities, your students will learn more about the scientific method, habitats and inhabitants of the Pacific Ocean, and the overall effect of unintended human impacts on the aquatic/marine environment.

Waterlogged offers five exciting classroom visitation topics, which are each aligned to the California State Science Content Standards (please see the attached brochure for more information).

This exciting aquatic/marine science education program is offered FREE to all Central Basin Waterlogged High Schools. For further information or to schedule a classroom visit, call (323) 201-5519.
