Central Basin MWD Provides Golden Opportunity to Santa Fe Springs
Largest Business Park in Santa Fe Springs Uses Water Wisely
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA. - The City of Santa Fe Springs is working closely with Central Basin Municipal Water District to encourage local businesses to utilize recycled water for construction, production, and irrigation purposes. As the largest recycled water user in the Central Basin, the City of Santa Fe Springs is celebrating their latest recycled water project. Recently, Santa Fe Springs Councilmember Luis M. Gonz´lez toured the grounds of Golden Springs Business Center with Central Basin Board President Robert Apodaca. Golden Springs is the latest project to debut in Santa Fe Springs. Due to the collaboration with the City of Santa Fe Springs and Central Basin Municipal Water District, this project will save residents approximately 39 million gallons of drinking water annually that would normally be used for irrigation purposes.
