About the Program
Our Southern California water supply is in crisis, and it's a problem that requires us all to do our part. Fortunately, Central Basin Municipal Water District customers don't have to go it alone. The Shut Your Tap! website provides valuable information on ways to use water more efficiently and protect our most precious natural resource for the short and long-run.
Here's How:
Simply shortening our showers by one or two minutes, checking sprinklers for leaks and using a broom instead of a hose to clean sidewalks and driveways are just some of the ways we can prevent water waste. Check back often for tips, rebate information, and news on helpful workshops within your community.
