Central Basin MWD meets the water needs of more than 2 million people by working closely with cities, retail agencies and community-based groups to deliver innovative and successful solutions. Each year, Central Basin provides approximately 60,000 acre feet of imported water to its 227 square mile service area - a region that extends across 24 cities and unincorporated parts of Los Angeles County.

As we look to the future, our focus remains on the people we serve. Key community partnerships make possible the development of projects and programs that will secure the regional water supply and promote the importance of conservation, education and recycling.
