*The Central Basin Municipal Water District Water Resources Committee meeting is noticed as a committee meeting for the purpose of compliance with the Brown Act. Two Board members are assigned as members of this Committee and one as an alternate. In order to preserve the function of the committee as advisory to the Board, members of the Board who are not assigned to the Water Resources Committee may attend, but may not participate or vote on matters before the Committee. COMMUNICATIONS 1. CALL TO ORDER. 1:32 p.m. 2. PUBLIC COMMENT. None. 3. ITEMS TOO LATE TO BE AGENDIZED - Determine the need to discuss and/or take action on item(s) introduced that came to the attention of the District subsequent to the posting of the agenda. None. ACTION CALENDAR 4. OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CENTURY RECYCLED WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to enter into an agreement with Park Water Company to operate the Century Recycled Water Distribution System for a not-to-exceed amount of $366,300 ($333,000 estimated amount, plus 10% for contingencies) for fiscal year 2007-08 . The Committee reviewed Item 4 and recommended approval at the May 22, 2007 Board meeting. RECOMMENDED INFORMATION CALENDAR FOR DISCUSSION 5. RECYCLED WATER CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT UPDATE 6. SOUTHEAST WATER RELIABILITY PROJECT The Committee reviewed Items 5 and 6 and agendized to the May 22, 2007 Board meeting information calendar for discussion. RECOMMENDED INFORMATION ITEMS FOR THE CONSENT CALENDAR 7. RECYCLED WATER SUMMARY The Committee reviewed Item 7 and agendized to the May 22, 2007 Board meeting Consent Calendar. COMMITTEE ITEMS ONLY NONE. COMMUNICATIONS 8. DIRECTORS' COMMENTS. Director Vasquez informed the Committee that he would not be attending the May 22, 2007 Board meeting because he would be out of town. Director Montalvo stated that he attend the Water 101 Workshop at MWD. Staff and General Manager Aguilar informed the Committee that due to information not being available for the Committee that an item on the WQPP regarding whether to continue operations of the facility or shutting it down, would be brought to the Board at the May 22, 2007 Board meeting.
