ACTION CALENDAR

8. CONSULTING SERVICES FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

 ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to enter into a:

1) CENB-54 service agreement with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California per their standard service connection agreement; and

2) CENB-54 service agreement with the BSMWC which will ensure both BSMWC and Central Basin comply with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Administrative Code regarding service connections.

10. JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR NEW CENTRAL BASIN HEADQUARTERS

ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to enter into a contract with Star Brite Building Maintenance Incorporated for the procurement of janitorial services for a period of two years beginning December 8, 2007 and ending December 8, 2009 for a not-to-exceed amount of $42,108 (10% contingency included). Paper supplies will be charged separately on an as needed basis.

11. ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA WATER AGENCIES (ACWA) REGION 8 OFFICERS AND BOARD MEMBERS ELECTION

ACTION: That the Board concurs with the nominating committee's recommended slate of officers and board members.
