ACTION CALENDAR

8. 2008-2012 IMPORTED WATER PURCHASE AGREEMENT PROCEDURES
ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to enter into individual 5-year imported water purchase agreements with Central Basin retail water agencies for the period of January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2012.

9. USES OF TIER 2 REVENUES
ACTION: That the Board authorizes the use of Tier 2 revenues to cover for the current year projects, as listed above.

10. LONG BEACH TRUST
ACTION: That the Board confirms the actions taken by the General Managers of Long Beach Water Department, Compton Water Municipal Services and Central Basin regarding Long Beach Trust as discussed above.

11. WEST AND CENTRAL BASIN JOINT FINANCING AUTHORITY ANNUAL AUDIT SERVICES
ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to enter into a contract with Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. (under West and Central Basin Municipal Water Districts) for auditing services for the period of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 with two options to renew for another year covering the period July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 and July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 for a not-to-exceed amount of $41,630. Central Basin's share is 50% or $20,815. This contract could be terminated within 30 days notice.

12. LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
ACTION: That the Board takes a "Support" position on SB 220.

13. LOCAL GOVERNMENT/BOARD-GENERAL MANAGER ADVISORY CONTRACT REVISION - THE CALDERON GROUP
ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to extend the annual contract with The Calderon Group and enter into an agreement for an amount not-to-exceed $124, 560 (with a 10% contingency), plus reasonable, preapproved expenses for fiscal year 2007-08.

14. WATER SQUAD INVESTIGATIONS PACIFIC COACHWAYS CHARTER SERVICES, INC.
ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to enter into an agreement with Pacific Coachways Charter Services, Incorporated for charter bus services for a not-to-exceed amount of $20,000.

15. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT AMENDMENT FOR THE HIGH-EFFICIENCY TOILET DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM
ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to amend the existing Professional Services Agreement for the HET Distribution Program and extend the term with the Oldtimers Foundation for an additional six months at an additional amount of $116,605.
