DWR Hosts First Ever Workshop on CA Climate

Anyone in the business of predicting California’s water supply knows that it all comes down to weather. The precipitation up north directly impacts the amount of water flowing down to us through the Colorado River and the State Water Project. So what does the state’s long-range climate forecast look like? The California Department of Water Resources will be answering this question for all of us on November 21, at their first ever 2009 Winter Outlook Workshop, or “WOW”.

While the event is free, there is an attendance limit of 75. For those of us not lucky enough to be heading to San Diego to attend, DWR has promised a live webcast of the entire workshop. Please see the DWR Meeting Announcement for more information.
