Local Competition Uses “Power of Film” to Promote Water Awareness
Rain Bird, a landscape irrigation manufacturer based in Azusa, this week announced their 2nd annual Intelligent Use of Water™ Film Competition. According to the press release, the competition is an opportunity for amateurs and experienced filmmakers alike “to showcase their talents and use the power of film to bring about a greater awareness of the need for responsible water use.” Not bad. Plus, the grand prize winner will take home $6,000.
Now open for submissions, they are accepting all narrative, documentary, animated, experimental and/or student-made short films (1-10 minutes in actual or excerpted run time) that explore methods and ideas to responsibly manage and utilize earth’s most precious resource.
