At last week’s Board Meeting, the Central Basin Board of Directors welcomed Porcha Ballard, a senior from Santa Fe High School who has chosen to study the exciting Southern California water industry for her Senior Project.

As part of her year-long project, she gets to spend lots of time with us, and her project mentor Art Aguilar, to learn about the industry and the many issues we face. According to her, getting involved at a local water district is “A wonderful way to learn about our economy and ways that people can help by CONSERVING WATER!!”
