This is a fantastic idea and I too think the name is perfect, Very creative. Hats off to CBMWD for initiating this, I can see it becoming a leading forum for our community on the issues that really matter.

I love the name and the concept! As always, Central Basin staff is ahead of the curve and this is yet another example. We're making water history as we meet at 'the cooler'.

I would like to congratulate the Central Basin on their opening in the city of Commerce! I would also like to thank the Basin's Board of Directors as well as my Mentor Art Aguilar (general manager) for allowing me to be apart of the this organization. So far i have been educated a little bit about how the Basin really works and how things are ran. I hope to get more out of it because this is a wonderful way to learn about our economy and ways that people can help by CONSERVING WATER !! Great thanks to Art who is my mentor who has made a great big difference in my life by enlightening me about our economy and water itself as well volunteering to become my Mentor for my Senior Project. Maggie G who has been there for me with support for my mentor program for school and setting up appoinments for me to meet with Art, she is the best!! Valarie H. who recommended this blog to me and has helped me a great deal with the pictures and making me feel comfortable. Last but not least Chris, he is a really awesome individual and i couldn't say enough about this guy. Creating this Bolg was a Great Idea!!! =]

Hat's off to CBMWD & Public Information Officer, Valarie Howard. You're definitely on the right track with the Water Cooler! I look forward to engaging conversations here. Thank you for being the first!
